MPG, what year, engine, accesories etc...?
I've got a 97' Supercab 4x4 4.6 automatic with 105K on it running 285's a cap, K&N and Flowmaster exhaust. I average 13.5 pretty much every tank unless I do all highway, that is on 89 octane. Just wondering where everybody else falls in line. The 13.5 is corrected for the 285's, I have seen a high of 15.5 and a low of 11 without the cap.
Thanx...

2004 Mustang GT, 4.6L, SOHC, 5-spd. Rousch CAI, UPR Offroad X-pipe, Magnaflow stainless catback. I average 21-22mpg on 87 octane, but on the highway doing roughly 65mph I once got 24.5mpg with the A/C on...
May add UD pulleys and new throttle body & upper intake before too long, but trying to work towards a Kenne Bell. So, maybe long tube headers, cams, etc...
When I added the exhaust the MPG went down to about 18mpg until the new wore off, and I could get the pedal off the floor...

Ok, I get it, it's a truck and it uses lots of gas. I know that. But I happened to dig out the window sticker earlier today (from when it was new) and it says 14 to 18 and I have never been there... I fill it every 4/5 days.
Gas mileage has been beaten to death in several discussions, but to beat another horse, I've averaged about 21 mpg at best in my F150. '04 4x2 Lariat Scab, 5.4 3V, 3.55 limited slip rear, only mod is DJM rear drop shackles.
