Exclamation Theft Warning

This item (2004-2005 Screw Magnaflow exhaust) was sold to me ($415.00) thru and from a member here on this forum back on August 16th of this year, the box was poorly packed and the contents had damage and had missing parts and the box WAS open when I got it. I was getting into my truck when the FedEx driver showed up, we both took a quick look to see if anything was noticeable wrong, I then told the FedEx driver to please make a note of it in the system I was told he would. Now I ask Mike Friedl for a refund, he gave me every BS line in the book, finally I had to get nasty. He told me he would work it out with FedEx on the insurance, come to find out he never put any insurance on the package, stupid, stupid, stupid. Now I see it’s on eBay for sale, man am I pissed and the wraith of Tim is on. I disputed the charge with PayPal they told me to go pound sand, I disputed it with my AMEX business card, ? On the outcome since it went thru Paypal. I just sent a complaint to eBay to let them know of the stolen property, since I legally still own it and first thing in the morning I will be calling the local FedEx off and talking with Gary the same guy that told me they were holding the exhaust for me after the inspection was over to return to me, since it was mine and I WILL be calling the Herndon, Virginia Police department to report the stolen property, this will be fun. So Mike you will be getting a visit from the local law enforcement sometime in the next day or two. This a warning to all be careful of who you deal with on any forum. I hope this is the right place to post this.

Mike replies That it's OK to rip people off because the Credit card company will eat it.

"You don't have to pay the charge on your credit card so stop worrying. Once Paypal resolves whatever they do, the charge will be permanently off your cc. It's your cc company that is handling this now not me. It's over- your money is coming to you so get a life."

MAn this makes my blood boil...

Way to go Tim. Why don't you also mention everything else that transpired in this transaction. To infer that you have been cheated or screwed is absolutely amazing. Your money is being refunded, though I truly doubt the legitimacy of your claim regarding the damage.

Your money was going to be refunded once I received confirmation from Fedex regarding your outlandish claims. It's not my fault that Fedex took nearly 2 weeks to get me the information. Do you think I'd trust you to be honest? No way.

In the interim, you filed 2 claims via Paypal that were both rejected and ultimately a dispute with your cc company which is where the mess is right now. Then you take my email and post it out of context and without permission on this board. How old are you? 18 years old? Go ahead check my ebay feedback mfriedl1. I never had a problem with a buyer/seller until I met you.

You started your demands from day one and continued with your childish threats until today. I will repeat- your money is beig refunded. What don't you understand about that? Your cc company has 75 days to resolve the situation that you created-not me. I offered a 100% refund upon return. However, in your paranoia, you refused to do so and now are waiting for resolution.

Buyers/Seller beware of this guy.

Wow!!! You continue your BS very well I might add.

You have not refunded my money, you want the credit card co. to eat this.
I can post anything I want including any part of your emails, they have no copyright, and was NOT taken out of context, that is the full paragraphed complete as you sent it. I did what I did to get my money back, anyone dealing with your ever changing stories and lies would have done the same, not to would have been down right stupid. You just stated 100% refund upon return, you have had this back for 10 days now, what are you waiting for? Christmas? to refund my 415.00 bucks and make sure you add 3% for the eBay fees to bring me back to whole. Once you do that then the AMEX, PayPal and eBay will be off your back, and I won't have to get the local law enforcement involved. Why would I refuse a full refund Mike? Just to have to deal with you and your crap this way? Does not hold water Mike.

I'm very sorry to the rest of this board for all of this, I just want everone to know what this person has done to me and not to let anyone eles get screwed by him.

You dont OWN anything your CC does. Your CC company is talking care of it, leave it to them. You need to chill out i think you are making something big out of the littlest thing. Your like a little school girl tattle tale telling on everyone about the dumbest crap. Maybe if your werent so "single channeled" you would actually listen to what this guy has to say.

THERE IS A RISK OF BUYING ON EBAY NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE.

IF YOU DONT WANT TO TAKE THAT RISK DONT BUY IT.

Now i have to listen to you bitch as me because im on this guys side

hurry up i dont care what he says...delete/lock the thread!

I had planned to stay out of this, but.....

When you sign up for PayPal you agree not to do any charge backs, rather you agree to let their investigative team look at the case and decide it "fairly" BASED ON YOUR USER AGREEMENT . So you went through the investigation and it was found that the seller was not at fault (from what I gather from reading the post), so you want against the rules and descided to do a charge back. That doesnt say much for your character IMO.

Everything sent FedEx is automatically insured. If the item you’re sending exceeds the base coverage FedEx automatically allows you, then you buy more insurance if need be

Doesn’t this thread belong in general?

PayPal DID NOT investigate this, it never meet the criteria for the buyer protection since the purchase was NOT made thru eBay. Going thru your credit card co. for a charge back does not guarantee you will get your money back, and since I pay my balance in full every month means I OWN IT, I paid for it, I OWN IT. So for those that chime in without asking questions first should not chime in. I think if some of you had been out $415.00 bucks you would have done the same thing. I just found out he got the min. ins. 100.00 from FedEx on September 8th and even after that he still emailed me telling me it still has not been approved what a liar.

Question - you bought this kit, got it, then shipped it back to him for a refund, and your waiting on the refund right? Ownership is 9/10s of the law bud. It's not stealing if you GIVE it to him. At least, I think you did this as its hard to decipher the drivel in your original post.
