Paintball
Ah, darn it, I knew I was forgeting something. You brung up a good point
One Eyed Willie. If your going to spend some money on a decent gun...
make sure it has a PDS (some sort of "Paint Detection System" or "Eyes")
Without them you will and I gaurantee it, start chopping paint with a higher
rate of fire.
Also your going to need a good hopper to keep up with that rate of fire.

Saleen has brought up some good advice. My group plays woodsball mainly. Me and a buddy have hit a couple fields for regular tourney style paintball(no tournaments) and have had decent luck against Newbs...If you want speedball, Tippman will not be the way to go. They are really bulky. Also, I would recommend you spend money on a good pair of goggles also. Make sure that the lenses can be replaced eaasily, and that they have some sort of antifog on them. Anyway, have fun I know we do...Paintball=legally shoot the crap out of people and not have to worry about going to jail.
i have been playing for almost 2 years now. all i have ever used are spyders. i have an xtra, and it has worked well for me. i havent had any problems with it at all. i have no experience with a tippman, tho they are apparently good guns. anyways, i dont think it really matters what you are shooting as long as you are having a good time.
