rear window concern
rear window concern
I have a supercab, and when the kids are in the back, they are constantly smacking their heads against the back window when i take off from a stop. Im starting to get concerned that one day that window is going to shatter and cut up their little heads. Anyone else worry about that? Has anyone taken any preventive measures (ie, head rests, safety glass, etc.)??
So the kids all tall enough that their noggins' are at glass level, yet their wimpy necks not strong enough (or they are not bright enough) to hold their little heads in place while dad (i.e. Paul Tracey) mashes his foot into the gas at every stop sign or light? Unless their huge craniums are full of rocks or metal plates, I'd be more worried about them becoming drooling financial burdens needing spoon feeding than I would that back glass breaking. But then again that's just me.
As someone who's broken more than his share of automotive glass over the years...
It takes a pretty significant shot to shatter a back window. I wouldn't worry about it, unless like D said, your kids have heads that weigh about 75 lbs and you're leaving from stop lights like you're running from the police or something.
