The Gas Thread

OMG Gas just droppped today! It went form $2.99 to $2.91!!! Is this an indication that the bottum is about to fall out of the oil market? We can not let this happen! Everyone go and buy more gas!

One place near me is at $2.82, everyone else in town is at $2.96 - $2.99. I read today that oil bounced back up and the falling prices over the last 4 days are a fluke.

Sure has made me much more aware of my unneccessary driving lately. I've put 25K miles on my F150 in the last year, gonna put a stop to all that 'fun' driving.

Holy crap BREW... Do you have a hole in the tank?

That's one of those times that you are sitting at the pump watching it roll on and on higher and higher. Tears are running down your cheeks and your just praying that it will stop soon!

$2.80 at the Citgo station * but * 7/11's are still $2.97 for Citgo gas in my area and some stations (Shell _ Chevron) are as high as $3.29 & they're all within 2 miles of each other

what a rip-off

I might have to start driving the small car to work. $75 a week for gas is a little crazy. Can I afford it?...Sure. But it's just the thought of throwing money down the toilet that bugs me.

Gas is only going down because the oil companies got worried about our Sept. 10 boycott. It will go back up on the 11th when they see it fizzle.
