Well, thinking back to my 95 F150. Wasn't near as high of the ground as the 05! But then, that's what they make step stools for!

Enjoy the freestyle. We got one three months ago and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. It rides better than an explorer, hauls nearly as much stuff, and gets way better mileage. It even got 26 MPG @ 75 MPH this weekend on a trip to Kansas from Indiana.

I like it so much I’m considering trading my truck in for one come March. Especially since I don't need my truck for towing anymore!

Longdog--I've been impressed in the few short days. decent pep, a ton of room, and it parks easily. I can't necessarily say the same about my truck!!
The kiddos love it, and that will make travel much easier. I love the aftermarket dvd in the truck, but the factory dual play feature is great for me. I love music & the lil ones aren't quite so adept at putting on their headphones yet.

Still took a ton of ***** today from my 'friends'

BUT since I'm going alone, I am driving the truck to Texas next week. Gas be darned, I am gonna enjoy stomping thru texas in my redneck truck!!!!!!

Ahem, well if he has to refrain from saying it then may I...? Yes, I too am a devil, but a good one... I swear.

Glad you like the new ride. A lady that I work with just bought a Highlander and refuses to punch it or drive over the speed limit. I keep telling her that she needs to just floor it out of the parking lot, whip it around the corner, and head on down the road.

I sell Fords for a living and those Freestyles, although slow selling, are nice cars. Nothing wrong with them at all. Did you get the one with the AWD and CVT? That one is awesome...and the price is nice.

I am waiting for the Fusion to come out before I buy a car for the "wife."

Me too.

Car and Driver liked it alot. According to the specs on the interior from Ford's website, it doesn't seem much smaller inside than the 500. I'm going to watch it for a few months and make sure that no big issues arise, but if all's good, I'm thinking the same car for my wife.

Does a Fiero with the V6 count as a sports car?
