CIA, good god you aren't lyin! I'm taking a math class at my college, in walks this girl and sits a seat or two away from me and we get to talkin. I'm thinking shes got a bangin body, real nice T and A on her, etc. and I said "I havent taken a math class since high school!" and you know what she says? "oh I'ms till in high school!" ... apply the ***** brakes right there. LOL.

Your recommendation is to buy 3 teenage daughters each a gun ?and have them carry it ? You have to be kidding. Thats WAY more dangerous tothem than anyone living across the street from them.

maybe its the NRA member, right-wing republican in me, but I believe that anyone who is properly trained and with proper amounts of self-control would be better off carrying a gunw ith them at all times than living in fear. As long as they know (or will learn) how to use it properly, respect it for teh damage it can do, I'd give my daughter a gun in a heartbeat, ESPECIALLY if there was a sex-offender with violent history living across the street. Can't take em to school of course, but at least having one around the house and showing them how to use it when they need to could save their life.
How many times do you hear about girls being raped and murdered? ALL THE TIME! It happens here in Denver on almost a daily basis. How about giving these girls some knowledge and power to defend themselves when they need it? How about giving them something to fight back with other then their own physical abilities, which obviously arent cutting it when the men are much bigger and full of mroe rage and craziness.
Who is going to try something on someone they know is packing? Or even try something if they know someone around them might be packing. Hence when countries take away guns, violence goes up, and when countries do what they can to increase the amount of guns, violence goes way down. I certainly would think twice about going in and robbing a 7-11 if I knew the clerk behind the counter had a shotgun, just like I'd think twice about robbing an old lady, or attempting to rape my neighbors daughter, if I knew they had a gun and especially if I knew they kept on one them at all times.
Someone comes in the house. STRANGER. BLAM BLAM BLAM!!! No rape, no murder, except for the bad guy.

 

Matt - I own a few guns myself and at one time was an NRA member and well I wont get into politics. But the statistics are that the kids are about a zillion times more likely to hurt themselves with the gun than the neighbor.
Can a minor even get a carry permit ??

Plus your method only works if you brandish the gun inhis face and your duaghters do too. Using logic about what you would do in a 7-11 doesnt count since you arent a burglar and dont think like one...

I guess it depends on how young a minor is. I don't believe anyone under 21 (at least in this state) can get a concealed carry permit, unless there is proof they are in danger, so perhaps this wouldn't work out. However I'd still say a gun in the house might not be a bad idea. AT THE VERY LEAST a can of mace and knowledge on what to do in that situation (i.e. self-defense class). I would just hate for anything to happen to these girls while people were saying "geez what should we do about the guy across the street?"

 

it is real simple......move.

it is not my job to give people a second chance espesially when it involves the safety of my wife and kids.

you give some POS the benefit of the doubt.. not me bubba. if your child gets raped it would ruin your life, thinking that you knew there was a possible threat accross the street, would haunt you til you died.

so you might eat $10k on property value.. beats the cr@p out of the possible alternative, think of it as an insurance policy for sleeping a little easier.

 

Pepper spray and a self defense class yes ... now we are on the same page
Maybe even a discussion that lethal force is recommended if he grabs you... LOL Punch the crap outy of him and dont stop ...

I just use a good trustworthy method that seems to work very well, so far:

I can see it now, in the heat of the moment, clothes are all off and ready to get down to business and then ”Excuse me, may I see some identification?”

Hell, you might as well give them a blood test while checking the identification...

 

As far as I am concerned if someone has been found guilty of a sexual crime with a minor child (i.e. 40 year old with 10 year old etc.) it should be federal law that they have tattooed on their forehead:

”I am a sick child molesting basturd”

 

Well I will say this much!
If it were me I would get him out of my neighborhood any way that I could. Even if it meant I'd get multiple misdermenor charges repeateadly!

As far as the guns debate.
You all should know where I stand by now.
