Dissaster is a very serious word. This storm is not going to be a dissaster..

I just read a report that said it was due to hit around Pompano/ Delray/ Ft. Lauderdale. It's wobbling a little and determining the exact center of the landing point is not important anyway. They have it narrowed down to a 20-30 mile stretch, and a good friend of mine lives right in the middle of that stretch (Lighthouse Point). He's probably hosting a party right about now.

I know you guys in Fl can agree with this, but Hurricanes are kinda cool until you have a Cat-5 hit. I was living in Charleston SC when Hugo hit back in 89(I beleive) and let me tell you........I thougt it would be awsome, but about half way through that storm, I got scared as Sh*t. I never want to go through that again. It's amazing how much power those things have.

I was pretty little when hurricane Andrew rolled through South Florida and at the time we were living in Boca Raton. We were damn lucky it didn't hit us like they predicted!
