Me neither...I know a guy who has 65,000 miles on the very first '04 screw I ever saw in person and he hasn't had a bit of trouble with it. Uses it on the farm and drives the **** out of it.

Soooo like 600,000+ F150 sold, 50 guys with a lot of issues crying on the boards, maybe another 50 on the other boards for a total of 200 guys with bad trucks. You've got a 97% chance of getting a winner next round... I like those odds..

Yep...200 out of 600,000 is 97%.

Id say stick with ford or gmc. But if you are going after the gmc atleast wait for the new body style to roll around.

Hell get a f250 diesel king ranch.

Well since I owe $27,000 on my loan, I really don't think I could swing the F-250 King Ranch. Plus theres no point in that big of a truck for me, the F-150 is all I need. Im going to still gun for another F-150 except this time, one with no problems!

My calculator says that it's actually 99.966667% (lets not give anyone a false sense of security with that extra 0.033%) but then again, me no do number thing well sometimes.

From: ???.....depends on the day
Just accept that you and your truck were victims of statistics...every manufacturing process is prone to producing lemons...because all systems are designed by humans...and humans make mistakes...Ford (and all other manufacturers) know this...that is why they will buy back their products in hope to save face with the customer in hopes that more customers will follow from recomendations....but you have to understand that Ford (and all other manufacturers) are going to have numerous "hoops" in place that you must jump through before they just give away another truck....It is also human nature to b!tch about things and to be nit-picky....which you are...unfortunately, 95% of society does not have a sound mechanical background and will b!tch about just about anything without reasonable ground...so you must understand that Ford (and all other manufacturers) CANNOT just lay down and accept defeat with every complaint that is brought forth to them....

As for as what I think....I was a Chevy guy for 23 years....I now have a Ford and will most likely NEVER turn back to Chevy/GMC.....as far as other manufacturers....I will never support a foreign economy/name....but that is ME and not YOU....do what you feel is necessary for YOU....the majority of US will recommend Ford because we are happy with OURS....and hopefully one day you will find happiness with a vehicle of your own...
