We're not fighting. We just expressed opinions about something we both have some passion over.

I respect Matt's opinion . . . maybe he respect's mine.

As for fighting though . . . if I don't see some early poll numbers soon, and a written campaign strategy , then you and I are gonna have words . . .

(Nothing but love for 'ya bro. )

Check it out

Campaign Mgr. is full time and then some. You'd get paid (assuming we actually get a campaign rolling and start bringing in money) I don't know, what do you want? $200,000 sounds about right to me. Is that O.K. for you? Work it into the budget. If elected, you get a cabinet position or ambassador position, or something. From then on, it's easy street.

RIGHT YOU ARE cia-agent . . .

(sorry if I helped get things off track here.)

Now, before I post this, let me just say that buckdropper is right, and everyone seems to be a bit touchy lately, so I'd like to add this disclaimer first:

DISCLAIMER: The following is not intended to offend, ridicule, or hurt ones feelings in any manner. It is a joke. It is intended to be humorous, to make your otherwise boring workday just a little bit better. If you are offended or upset in any way, then we send out this preemptive apology . . . we are sorry you're upset.

That said:

Honestly, I could see no use for such a speaker, however, last night, in a dream . . . actually it was between two other dreams, one involving Cindy Crawford and wiped-cream, and another dream involving swimming in a sea of 100 dollar bills with Diane Lane and suddenly this train came shooting out of this tunnel and. . . . oops, sorry . . . where was I . . . oh yeah . . .

Between these two other dreams I had a dream where I was sitting in a room with Issac Newton and Robert Goddard. We were discussing the Law of Inertia: d/dv(v) = 0 when Goddard, who was reading this forum noted that the subwoofer looked an awful lot like a giant jet engine. Newton looked at it (the picture of the speaker) and right at that moment, some stupid kid in a Honda Civic drove by playing rap music (and I use the term music so loosely that it sets a whole new low level for what "music" includes into its definition) anyway, some kid was playing rap music so loudly that it made the house shake. Newton was amazed at the force a speaker could generate. Upon hearing this, Newton looked at me and said
"You know, Goddard's rocket engine, and the boom from that speaker, gives me an idea. Theoretically, the force of air that speaker pushes out could act like the thrust of a rocket and propel the vehicle it is in."
This inspired me to come up with this:

So you see . . . maybe speakers such as this can be used as some sort of alternative, pressure wave hybrid propulsion system.

Just a thought.

I'd just like to be elected to the US Senate for one term.

$150,000 (Or whatever they make) for the REST OF MY LIFE, with COLA adjustments in addition to my regular job, and the leture circuit...

Had I known back then, what I know now. I'd have gone to college, majored in Political Science, gotten commissioned as a 2LT, accepted the position I was offered at WHCA (White House Communications Agency), then started my career in politics from there.

Big-Agent
(D) Louisiana

I'd never have become a Texas state resident, which would have been a bummer- but, I could have lived without the title, if it meant a career (or a term) in D.C.. After Livingston got canned (self-canned) after pressing the Clinton issue too hard, I'd have had no competition in Louisiana!

Muhuhuhahahahaha!!!!

Note: I still kick my own @$$ for turning that job down...
Damn, I let my fear of flying and my concern over beign spied upon- ruin a golden opportunity!!!

Imagine if I had that on my resume' today?!?!

I am open to Cabinet level positions in the following order:

1) Education
2) Transportation
3) Interior
4) Defense

Otherwise, I will settle for playing golf with ya at Congressional...

I'd like to be Secretary of the Army, or the FCC...

With me in charge of the FCC, censorship would go right out the window.

Full frontal nudity would be allowed on broadcast TV, and I'd make it clear to parents that they are now in charge of parenting; not TV guide. HDTV would be halted, until manufacturers made those TV's affordable to all who own a CRT television today.

I'd propose a law that made eavesdropping, hacking and computer information theft punishable by death via firing squad.
--------------------------------------

As for if I became SOA, I'd bring all our surplus M113's back up to factory specs, and refit them with the telecommunications equipment currently housed on other lightweight vehicles. I'd make sure every soldier had at least some armor between them and a stray bullet. I'd work on making the UH-60 a gunship, and I'd ditch the OH-58's in favor of the wide-spread deployment of the RAH-66 Comanche.

I'd have the Apache replaced by Bell 22's, up armored, and designed to look like green Airwolves, and I'd approve funding to research into jet-powered helicopters.

I'd take the A-10's, and their pilots from the Air Force, and put them under Army doctrine, replacing the old addage that there are no jets in the Army. Anythign that can splatter a tank, needs to be under Army control.

Then, I'd stage a massive "REFORGER" like exercise, but call it "REFORABIA" and position the Army in Saudi Arabia, then kick the whole middle-east's butt, take over all the oil, and drop gas prices to $0.25 a gallon. I'd blow up any US fuel company that refused to build new refineries, and that refused to lower prices to what I proposed, you know- if you agreed with me, Kobi, I mean- Mister President...

I used to work at a stereo shop when I was in HIgh school.

I have so much car audio equipment I don't know what to do with it.

Subs? I've had them all. Seriously. From Rockford, to Crunch, to Pile, to Celestion, to kicker, to JL audio, Jesus, I could go on.

I still have a 12" Celestion, 12" Rockford Fosgate DVC, 2 10" MTX DVC.. all in boxes.
I have Kenwood, PPI, MTX, Audio control Amps.
Audio control and MTX cross overs, trunk mounted EQ's, dash mounted EQ's. Some new, some used.
Speakers? Probably about 20 Pairs sitting ont he shelf, from 3.5" Kickers, Tweeters, components...

One of these days I'll have a garage sale and sell some of it.

THe only thing is that kids now adays only care about looks. I have A PPI amp that is .25 ohm stable that looks terrible (scratched from being under the seat, but is a phenomenal piece of equipment.

Everything nowadays is massed produced CRAP!

OH.. BTW:
There is a sub produced in the early '90's that would blow that sub in the first post away.

Elephants communicate through Low Frequency rumbles and feeling of ground tremmors.

A Sub was produced to simulate the ground tremors. IT was about $15k back then. It literally was designed to shake the ground and send low frequency THROUGH the ground

I knew there would be a post about this, lol. I think the Jackhammer, along with MTX, is gay.

The magnet only weighs 57 pounds (not saying that has anything to do with performance) but where does the rest of the 200 some odd pounds come from? Take away that basket just made to make it look big and great, put in a normal basket that will work and isnt total over kill, and then it probably would look like anything to special.

I saw that PMR too, and they had an "extreme loud meter" or some BS, it started flashing when it hit 100 db. Lol.

I menace, your my new best friend. lol-but you havent heard everything. I agree most of the mainstream stuff is just over priced crap anymore, but look at some of the internet companies out there, they make some killer stuff that cost almost nothing (when you compare it to what the maintstream stuff out their cost)

PPi also did make some sweet amps-IMO, they suck now, and are surpassed by other brands. You wouldnt happen to have any old school 2 channel ones that out out about 50 to 75 watts at 4 ohm per channel that you wanna sell cheap would ya? Im lookin for a new front stage amp. Would kinda like to have a Diamond d5300.2 though, to match the d5600.1 I have for the subs, but Ide def take an old school PPI. Rob Zeff designed I might add, founder of Zapco lol (talkin about the Diamonds)
