ok gomer, here's your info. All three shift forks are still available...Fork-1st and 2nd gear #F1TZ-7230A $77.00. FORK-2ND-3RD GEAR #F1TZ-7231A $58.00 FORK-5TH AND REVERSE #F1TZ-7289C $66.00. Now the bad news, the only shift rod still available is for 5th and reverse # F1TZ72423 $ 37.00. Hope this helps.

Thanks. Not too bad I suppose. Does make me wonder if that's really the problem as 2nd gear works pretty good. Guess I'll know for sure when I open the trannie and take a look inside. Thanks!

Thanks SAJEFFC
Maybe someone in here has an extra one when they went from the xl,xlt to the fx4
anyone??
UC I had one of thoes POS toyocoyo trans in my 88 F150, the problem is the rubber plugs on the ends of the shift rails that leak, but not enough to see oil in the driveway. I was driving about 70 when the trans locked up causing the clutch to explode, the input shaft was welded to the bering and the bering was fused to the alum case, the fix junk yard trans then the rubber plugs changed to a freeze plug type I, my dad, little brother put another 200,000 on that truck before it gave up the ghost
