Thumbs up Yea ! What He Said. Same goes for The USA.

Published in an Australian newspaper:

Quote:

IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct" crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to Australia. However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.
This idea of Australia being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Australians, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom. We do not go to your home country and attempt to change your way of life, your customs or your heritage; you would not tolerate it.
Please give us the same respect you demand from us!
Many of our men and women have fought and died in countries like yours to ensure that you were free to maintain your culture, your heritage and your way of life. Nothing was asked by us in return. You were free to leave that country and make Australia your new home. Any way you look at it they died for you and for your freedom and we, as Australians are proud of them.
We speak ENGLISH; not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!
"In God We Trust" is our National Motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan. We adopted this Motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.
If the Southern Cross offends you, or you don't like "A Fair Go", then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from.
This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our National Motto, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom:

"THE RIGHT TO LEAVE".

If you aren't happy here then FU*K OFF! We didn't force you to come here. We won’t force you to stay. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted. The country that welcomed you with open arms.
Pretty easy really, when you think about it.

Aussies are redneck Brits, which makes them okay in my book. And yes austrailia was a penal colony for British subjects.

you should read some of the quotes by Prime Minister John Howard. When left leaning reporters question him, he makes them look like asses.

I'd vote for him if he was here.

What a crock of schzit!! What do you think the English did to the indigenous people that were already there?? Just like here in the US.

Immigrants or more like conquers came looking for new territories and treasures and when they found new lands they took them by force and deceit. Made new laws to their way of thinking and moved in. Then have the arrogance to say don't come here and try to change anything and if you don’t like it leave. Then the author says, “If you aren't happy here then FU*K OFF!” The guy needs a good azz kicking himself! Talk about a hypocrite!

I’m not anti-Aussy or Anti-government, but keep in perspective the actual histories and events that shaped the countries we live in. I love my country, but also am aware of the injustices we have done to our native peoples. And to have a mentality of I’m here and your out, and stay out! Is just wrong. Everyone needs a fair shake at prosperity.

From: Lost some where in the middle of the Ozark Mountains!

It started off as a written by an australian leter about australia, but it magiacally turned in to a letter from the USA about the USA???

I can promise this was never actually published in Austarlia in this text. Maybe doubntful but just maybe something similar... If so then it has still been edited, modified, and twisted severly if it even was!

As far as everyone gets a fair shake... Not just no, but he!! no!
I know we stole this land from native americans. BUT... that doesnt mean that I'm willing to let someone come in and steal it from us! Many men lost thier lifes while we conquered and over came to aquire this land. Many men have given thier lifes and continue to give thier lifes so that we can live here with a decent quality of life. If we give an inch then it's all over for our way of life that I myself am quit happy with other wise I would leave!

That email has legs. It looks like an aussie got a hold of it and did a little tinkering.

The true author deserves the credit, not the guy that plagarized it. A guy named Barry Loudermilk wrote the article, you can read the original here:
