**** NEW OBDII Gauge ****

Don’t know if any of you know about this new product so I thought I would share it with you. There is a thread in the Lightning forum but some of you may not visit that forum.

It’s a nice OBDII gauge that you can install into a standard 2 1/16” pod. I believe it simply plugs into your OBDII port and you can measure many different parameters such as oil temperature, coolant temperature, oil pressure etc.

They are not out yet for the Ford’s but if anyone is interested you could send them some email asking. It appears that since a few people from the Lightning forum have sent some emails they are trying to move this forward.

Anyway, take a look at their website and if interested email them. I am no way associated with them and will receive nothing in return from them just would like to see it come to the market so I can purchase one…

Dont you get most if not all of that from holding the odometer reset button in while starting your truck?
I know it shows the majority + speed in .01 MPH or .01 KPH I'm not sure about the transmision temperature. I've been thinking about getting a gauge for that and trying to decide where and how I want to install it. But I'm 80% sure that the odometer does show the OBDII's reading/monitoring of that too.

You can obtain some of those readings from the odometer but not many of them. Even the ones you can read are not always in the best format, as far as degrees F, or PSI for oil pressure.

I also think the odometer is hard to read when driving. I have a triple pillar gauge pod installed in my truck and they are easy to read in that location. It seems like a nice unit for the price.

Definatly not a bad price.. $219 for essentially 24 gauges in 1.

I had thought about the pod mount but I really dont want anyone to see anything other than stock when they are sitting next to me at a stop light. I dont want to give away any more than I have to..
That's why I say it's mostly stock, which is currently a true statment because atleast 80% of the bolts/screws on the truck have never been turned since the factory!
