So, I'm on call today, and I guess I'm pretty bored, because I've read about everything posted in the last few days. Mr. Farmer Dan, let me offer you some advice.

First, you have a very nice truck. You have a nice looking lady too.

Now, as far as these woe-is-me comments like "loner for life", and complaining that you don't fit in anywhere, I'm just wondering about a few things.

Do you want to fit in? I mean, if you are trying to be something you're not, then you are wasting your time. It's ok to be who you are. The only thing I would say to change is to pick your fights wisely if you're going to be sparring on this site. Seriously, did you need to react to dzervit's post like you did? I think not. You need to settle down, and just let the little things roll off. Reacting the way you do only paints a brighter red circle on your back. Keep in mind that as much as you would like, nobody has to see things your way, and you don't have to see things the way other do. If you're not comfortable and secure in who you are, then you shouldn't be picking these fights with others in the first place.

By the way, it is great to stand up for something you believe in. I think you need to weigh the subject and see if it's worth sticking your neck out for. Trust me, I've stuck my foot in my mouth several times on this site. After I went back and read my "shoot from the hip" posts, I learned what I'm advising you about.

If you are insecure with yourself, and want to be someone you're not, then you need to put a big hug on yourself, and repeat this over and over again until you believe it...

"I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and dog-gone-it, people like me!"

If none of this is reaching you, let me try this last piece of advice. You have that nice looking lady there. She would probably be much better company then those here. Spend some more time with her, and less time here. Make sure you are treating her well, and LISTEN to her without getting all touchy if she says something you don't like. Until you are secure in who you are, you'll always feel sorry for yourself.

Yeah i was working all day yesterday, got in a little quality time with the woman, slept a few hours and got up and worked all day today.

1969Mach- i appreciate the advise- and i am not trying to be something i am not- i have told u boys exactly who i am and what i stand for. And the stickers on my truck also express who i am and what i stand for. Some- i wont mention any names , are just to ignorant to see what they mean. i dont blame them- they are city folk and cant help themselves .

so i guess i should explain it to all- #1 i like the way they look

#2 some of them are for organizations i belong to- american angus association, national rifle association, and ducks unlimited. and the others showcase my pride in america and ford trucks. If u dont like them- tough sh*t.


And the reason i reacted to Dzervit the way i did is cuz i dont like people that act like they think they are so much more important and superior to everyone else and thats the kind of guy he came off as to me. i dont take any of that kind of sh*t.

i really like this site and most of the people on it are great- but there is always an as*hole or 2 around to make trouble.

Anyways i plan on sticking around- so get used to it.

I just dont get why you would argue with someone that you dont even know or have never seen before. Just chill out, have a good time, and dont let DZ get to you.

Seriously though I know what your saying and I know where your coming from, but... I have to agree with 1969mach on this one.

I like you but I can gurantee you that if your going to get that riled up, fighting mad and hold a grudge on someone over something like stickers... Then your time here will not be enjoyable and when it's all said and done then you wont like many if any of us. We are like a family and we pick on each other BIG TIME! You have to have a thick skin on your ******* to hang with the nuts around here and that includes all of us.
(How's that ZAP? Is that a better line? LOL)

It's not about being something your not.
A wise man once told me.
You can choose to either be:

1. Defensive and easy to pick on thus becoming everyones Biatch
   
   or
   
2. Whitty and care free where no one has a reason to pick on you because nothing bothers you so they can't mess with you.

This applies online and in real life too. Now I don't know about you but I'm not going to be everyones or anyones slap biatch. So I will choose B!

I can definatly see where you might feel like you dont fit in anywhere if your this easy to rile up then everyone is going to pick on you where ever you go. That will never stop until you stop choosing to be A.

I can go into great detail about the social psychology, and growing up on a farm I can speak from both study and personal experince.

As far as the actual sticker fiascoe (sp?) all I can say is Dezervt lived up to his name. He made a joke for the quick laugh then you attacked him. You asked for everything that he gave you, I as well as several other tried to warn you and calm you down before you stepped in. If a man steps behind a horse when your telling him to stop then your going to laugh when he gets kicked. Right?
Well I as well as several others warned you and you stepped in anyway. I'm going to try and warn you again, so if you get kicked again I'm going to LMAO. Let it go and chalk it up to experince before you really do become known as farmerDstickerguy.
