I know that it is a pest that gets into cotton, and the mascot for Univ. of Ark. Monticello.

well i've read thru this thread from the start

farmer...he's not called "dzervit" for nothing...and everything he types to you..you dzervit

dont get jamzwayne's shorts all bunched up or else
lunch will be at rudys

dont get brewdude going or its one final boat ride for you

and thumper will use you as a whoopdee on the motocross track

and i'll get the welder out and things will end up stuck together where they dont belong

racerchick will "stud" your nose

and pssmag will turn you into a "writeoff"

and this thread is not about women any more

see how easy it is to sidetrack?

this is a (ford) TOUGH place here

just roll with the punches and everything will be ok

i think i'll start another "girlfriend" thread

or not

...zap!

LOL

Heck I have atleast 3 mailboxes I've aquired from unkown sources out in the junk barn. (is that another sign of redneckism?)
I'll be back in a little bit. I have to get them up before the mail man runs. Dang I'm so excited... If this works then I might gross 30K this year! LOL :jumps for joy and claps hands:

WAIT!... That doesn't add up... I have one and make 10K [(farm wages go figure) so if I put up another then I make 20K, so they are 10 K each so the 3 + the 1 I have is 10+10+10+10 = $40,000 (farmer math) Wooo doggy. It'll be a good year this year!

Seriously though...
Before I get raged on the only way I feel I can make fun of any life style is if I am one, and well I am one.
Proad alumni of FFA, I raise beef, pigs, and chickens to eat not sell. Grew up on a dairy farm, and hated the lifestyle and lack of wages per hour invested. So I got out but can't stand the taste of store bought meat now so I grow and butcher my own.

I dont know why you all are paying $100K+ for machinery. There have been atleast 3 farm auction every week here for the last 5-10 years of a farm going out of business. You can get barely used high end equipment of any kind for no more than $30K at these auctions. I mean JD combines, JD 4x4 Cab overs with buckets and ussually an attachment or two, etc, etc.

My best friends dad is the president of MFA feed INC, He deals with almost every farm in the state and surrounding states. I talk to him often and I know how bad it is right now for farmers. We are so dry here this year no one is getting a second yeild of hay and corn crops arent breaking a first yield yet. It's not looking good.

I'd say spend you money wisely and get used equipment if it were me.

This isn't something that I'm proud of, but I can can vouch for kobiashi here. That monument is about 3 block from my house. On the plus side, they redid the square around the statue, so it looks nicer now........man I have to get out of the south

the boll weevils killed all the cotton, but left the peanuts here. Letting the locals discover that peanuts grew better than cotton here, therefore becoming a better cash crop. Low and behold we have the boll weevil monument and the National Peanut Festival
