Mustang

The reason they cannot keep up with demand is that the mustang is built on the same assembly line as the Mazda 6, another "hot car". Therefore they cannot just build mustangs all day long. What I don't get is that Ford has the capabilities to completely change a plant with flexible manufacturing in 30 days, but they seem afraid to pull the plug and actually do it. Maybe it is a supplier problem also, but they need to capatilize on the "hot car" the way the imports do.
The Fusion looks pretty cool, but with most cars from Ford it will be overpriced at the start and no one will buy it. Then they offer rebates and incentives to lure buyers and then it's too late. They need to price the Fusion below the Mazda 6 since it is basically the same car and see what happens.
