GAELICUM.EXE

I got a call from a customer that was having some "trouble" getting online. We ran through some basic trouble shooting steps, nothing. She had an IP, it was reachable, she could PING IP's and URL's, but couldn't browse by IP or URL. After about 10 minutes, she FINALLY mentioned a strange file on her desktop that wasn't there before, and she couldn't delete it. It was labeled:
GAELICUM

I did a search andf found this: GAELICUM.EXE

Just a little heads up folks.

Thunderstorms are amazing creatures.

 

the one we got friday took out my monitor, cable modem, cable line connector, dish network sattelite head and receivers, new DVD player VCR new TV, my computer speakers, my battery back up, our electrical fence.. a ceiling fan,few breakers in the switch box....so far thats all i know of that storm took out... but were gonna pull a claim in home owners insurance.
