I'm bracing myself for Monday. I put an application in at a factory for an electrical maintenance technician position. The secretary said that not many people have applied for this job. So my odds are pretty good. They're on vacation this week, so I'm just waiting for that phone to ring.

I just got home about an hour ago. I left early Friday morning with my dad to bring a trailer load of stuff up to his new fishing cabin in Eufaula, Alabama. We got up there about 11:30 Friday, unloaded the trailer, did some cleaning at the cabin and ran some errands. This morning we left early for Atlanta (150+ miles) so I could look at some bucket trucks for sale ( www.SagonTrucks.com ). I almost bought one but it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I'm a week or two away from having my financing finalized so I will keep looking until I find exactly what I want.

Drove back to Orlando this afternoon, passed through a couple storm bands thrown off from that lil rainshower heading North across the Gulf of Mexico. Saw a few billboards blown down, a couple highway signs twisted off and a traffic light turned around from the breeze. Had a hard time maintaining 75 in the F-1 fiddy (pulling a trailer), too many drivers creeping along in the left lane with their flashers on. I wonder what's up with that?

Because the flipnuts in Florida believe that you take the speedlimit, on 95 would be 70mph and subtract 10mph from that, if it's raining you MUST take off 25mph MINIMUM!

In Titusville, if the sign says 35, you can bet your *** the fastest these old people will go is 25mph.

Well, I wish I was doing what English Adam is but I'm painting my house a section at a time on the weekends until it's done. I just couldn't bring myself to pay someone 3k to do it for me.

In fact I'm done for the day now and it's Miller time.

Just got back from Chitna, Alaska doing some dipnetting for red and king salmon. My dad and I caught 81 salmon in two days. Friday night, I caught 31 red salmon and 1 king salmon, and my dad caught 18 reds. We started netting about 4:20pm, and we finished around 7:00. On Saturday morning, I caught 16 more red salmon, and my dad caught 14 reds and a huge king (about 55 lbs), spent about 2 1/2 hours as well. We decided to head back a day early, so today, I'm headin' up to his house to rinse of the fish, wrap 'em up, and freeze them.
