Funny Town Names

Well I did a search and didn't see where this had been discussed much so here we go. Maybe I'm wrong.

I know in every state there are some towns with some very amusing names. I can think of a few here in Arkansas.

Bald ****
Weiner
Smackover
Goobertown
**** Lick

Could it be that Arkansas is the only state with these funny names?

Here in PA we have the world famous Intercourse, and the close-second Bird In Hand.

There's some alphabet soup ones too, like Wapwallopen, and Wallenpaupak.

There's a town called Intercourse?

Now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are.

The town I grew up in - Gas, KS

There is only about 800 people in it, and our water tower is an area landmark. It's painted red with GAS, KAN in big white letters. In fact give me a minute and I might find a picture.

There is also a joke among the locals that goes something like this when commuting through Gas. "I had to pass Gas to get from *insert neigboring town* to *insert neighboring town*! Yeah that got old about the 500th time I heard it

Here it is: Gas Kan

Yeah Bummer

Kinda like my job...I know lots of farmers. It's like they expect me to be able to give them more for their grain because I know them or something...Wish it worked that way.
