Kissimmee Florida. We pronounce it kis-SIM-mee but invariably the news reporters and tourists call it KISS-i-mee

I know in every state there are some towns with some very amusing names. I can think of a few here in Arkansas.

Bald ****
Weiner
Smackover
Goobertown
**** Lick

Could it be that Arkansas is the only state with these funny names?
My brother lives in Smackover.

Cool. hehe

I was talking to a farmer who is by the town of Weiner the other day. Directions to his house..."turn east on the Weiner Cuttoff road, People keep stealing the sign for some reason, but it's the third road"

As if it weren't funny enought that there was a road called the WEINER CUTTOFF, dude didn't know why people kept stealing the sign. I laughed till I hurt.

I wouldn't make it up either, it is a shortcut from Harrisburg to Weiner.

Kind of hard to see but I was doing about 70mph in a Peterbilt and had a very dirty screen.

The place is Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump near Calgary.

Also, not a town but a mountain in the Bavarian Alps
named ****.
You can even take a cable car up
