The F-150 made it some of the way..

But I had to walk the rest of the way!! But it was worth it. Just some pics of my weekend. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, it was heaven. The trout fishing was good, but the ice just came off the lakes so the fish were a little finiky.

Nice pics!

I almost didn't see the chick laying by the rocks. Good camo.

Beautiful. I'm feeling a vacation coming in the next few weeks, these pictures are just inspiring me that much more.

The tempeture was about 75 during the day and high 40's at night. The truck did well, but this was in a wilderness area and no motorized vehicles are allowed in, so the last 10 miles were on foot. But I have no doubt the old S'crew would have made it!! I was going to get some 4 wheelin pics on the way out, but I was too tired and sunburned . Plus my buddies mooched my smokes, and needed to get to town for some more!
Next time I will get some pics of the truck crawling over the rocks to get to the trailhead. You can walk faster over the rocks but driving is much less strenuous. Those mountains are only about an hour away from me, so we get up there quite often.

Ultra, Nice pics, looks like another place I need to go. I usually go every couple years to the Pinedale area for some hiking and horse back trips. I dont think there is an ugly place in the whole state of Wyoming.

Here is a pic I took of Freemont Lake near Pinedale.

And here is Square Top Mnt where we went for a three day horse ride in.

and this was in the Wind River Range where we stayed for a night.

Like I said, not an ugly place in the state, but some places just cant be described.
Cant wait till next year when I head out that way again, looks like ya had a good time. Wish I was there..

Sled...
