Decided to sell...

Well I've decided to go ahead and sell my '98 F150. Its getting some transmission work done right now, and I've decided its just not worth putting more money into. Its been a good truck, but I'm just going to cut my loss and go on.

I have a hard time selling cars...I grow very attached to them. When I sold my miata in february, I literally teared-up.

I hope you find a worthy replacement!

You're telling me. I've never sold a car. I still have my 1982 Audi 4000s I bought when I was 16. I'm actually hoping to get it running this afternoon after 6 years parked.

Well my truck is a weekend truck, I put maybe 7k miles a year on it. I'll have to post some pictures of it when I get home, but its a 1998 F150 ext cab Lariat (black/tan trim), styleside SWB, tan leather interior, towing package, off-road package, 117k miles, 4x4, 5.4L, auto E4OD, 9.75" limited slip rear, new BFG AT's, Warn brushguard, superchip, flowmaster, Line-X bedliner. The truck had every option you could get that year cept the captain chairs, we opted for the 60/40 split bench.

Right now my daily driver is a 97 Accord, so I'm trying to justify buying another newer F150 that I'll never drive, but have it when I need it. If I do get another truck right now, it'll be an '04+ model 4x4

Sorry to hear you have to get rid of your truck. Hope you get another one soon! Even if you don't need it, they're fun to have!!

I'll 99.99% be getting another F150 after I sell. I just have to sell my current truck first.
