New pics of 66 F250
Nice...real nice. You lucky dog.
There looks to be some work there, but I am sure it will be worth it. I want to rebuild a truck someday. I hope when the time comes...I find a toy just like that. The body looks pretty straight, Glass looks good still, your on your way. You have 2 new doors, and a new hood? OUTSTANDING. Keep us updated...I love this kind of stuff.

Update: Got a bunch of parts off of two trucks behind and partway in a barn down in Dover PA. Bought the trucks for 500 and stripped them. Frames and junk going to scrapper to reclaim some cash.

Awesome pics man!
My frist truck was a 1965 F-100 Custom Cab. I loved that truck. I bought it for $300 when I was 12 and over then next 3 years my and my father restored it. I will have to find someone that can scan the pics I have of it so I can post them. Mine also had the 352 V8 with the 3 on the tree. The engine was blown, so we replaced it with a 351W and an automatic trans out of a 1979 Ranchero. I too had to replace one of the doors, the bed, and the hood (rust, easier to replace with good pieces than repair). We got an under the dash A/C out of a Mustang and redid everything. I miss that truck so much. I sold it about 15 years ago. ABout 7 years ago I was in Austin visiting, and a friend of mine told me he knew where it was sitting. We went by to see and it and sure enough it was my old truck. It was black and white and we repainted it red and white. I will get those pics out and see if I can get them scanned.

Just looked through some of the left over "new" parts I have from the '65 F-100 I restored a few years back and I discovered some new wing window levers/latches, and some new door key tumblers. If you need either just let me know and I can fix you up.
I also have a rebuildable steering box for it if you need it.

I found some pics and scanned them tonight. These arent the only ones I have, just the only ones I can find. Here are a couple before paint, but after we had replaced the rusted pieces:

Wow, what a great truck, and in Fantastic condition! Keep us updated on the project so we can keep drooling on our keyboards. Thanks for the shots of the 3 on the tree. I've heard about them forever but those pics really showed me what its all about. Now I just need to drive one...
Oh year...what color are you going to paint it and could you give us some details of what your plans are with it. Sorry if youv'e already done this, I didn't read the whole post and have now typed to much to click the back button.
