Gas prices!
Gas prices!
I've seen a few posts here and there about gas prices. Well, I filled the L up today. It took about 80 liters, don't know what that is in gallons. Oh, and the price? 125 Euro!! Over $155 for one tank o' petrol! Luckily, we get a subsidy, and don't really have to pay that much, but the locals sure do!

$2.27 for 94 here, sometimes a little cheaper. If my ' L' was near empty it would cost me around $45 bucks to fill it up, I guess, since I haven't filled it all the way up in a while. I guess if you get some $$ back it wouldn't be as bad as paying the whole $155 to fill it up. I guess that's why in Europe they drive those ity' bity' little cars!
HaHa, I filled my Avalanche up from the gas light being on last month. Cost me $87.50 I usually never let it go that low but I was on my way back from KY. I usually get gas between 1/2-3/4 of a tank. The Lightning probably has twice the horsepower of it and gets just as good as if not better MPO. HaHa! -Mat-
When others here in the great US fo A complain about gas prices I laugh.
Here compare this.
Locally because of our altitude, they sell cheap 85 octane gas instead of 87. The kicker is they call it regular, and price it the same as the rest of the nation's 87 octane. So the price for 85 octane today is $2.19 a gallon. 87 octane is $2.34 a gallon, and 91 octane is $2.44 a gallon. They won't even sell 94 octane but at a very few locations and ask $2.85 a gallon.
So when you comare gas prices nationally, for like octane fuel, we are some of the highest in the nation.
Kind of makes you want an electric huh?...just kidding.
Heck at least we can purchase it here at all!

And as for all the little cars driven around here, I think their advantage is outweighed by everyone driving like they stole it!! Not organized, germanic fast, but get outta my way-I need that one extra car length-testosterone filled, maniacal-road-rage inducing fast! But, you know what they say. When in Rome...
We're still paying $2.48 for 87
Check this out. We just filled our heating fuel tank because our lease says it has to be full when we leave. It took 524.5 gallons at $2.00 a gallon = $1101.45 with tax
Can someone give me a loan??

it takes for ever to fill up these fatty tanks. i only fill up when my truck says beeps and tells me to fill up. i put that function to good use. except whenever i fill up im there forever. i probly see 3 or 4 people fill up and leave next to me. and those stupid stations that stop at $50 make it worse. i usually have to plan a whole day just to fill up. these gas prices arnt makin it any better.
No offense guys, but everytime I hear/read about you Americans complaining about the price of gas it makes me ill. Here in Winnipeg, Canada I'm paying $3.60 a gallon (89.5 cents/liter). Other parts of Canada are paying $4.00/gallon or higher. Sorry everyone, no sympathy here.
