Chris Ledeux.

Now, as I said previously, I don't care for country music, but If I'm stuck listening to it, I do appreciate Chris's music. There was a real Cowboy. It's very sad that he's gone so early, but he lived a cowboy's life.

Wow, I'd forgotten about "Don't worry, be happy." That one is horrible. So is the "Da Da Da" song that Volkswagon used for it's commercials a few years ago.

You thought you had your answer but yourt answer wasn't valid.
Your Looking at me crazy cause you think I'm Lo-co,
A big black cow-boy with a crazy lo-go.[QUOTE]

I like Cowboy Troy myself, though thats the only time I've heard him was with Big & Rich on that song. (Rollin')

Has anyone heard the song by Hot Apple Pie, "Hillbillies"

I haven't listend to main stream country in several years... but with stuff like this that's coming out now, I'm coming back around.

Song that I would like to add to the nominations (Right said Fred, I'm to Sexy)

Hot Apple Pies' Lead singer is Brady Seals who lead Little Texas in the 90s. That song is real great.

Thumbs down

"Muscrat Love" & "Afternoon Delight" have to rank among the worst. "My Ding-a-ling" was terrible. And...just about anything by Barely ManEnough...I meen Barry Manilow, really bites. "Mandy", "The Copa Cabana"...they all stink.

Not sure it's the worst, but it's up there. Did anyone say Hollaback Girl yet? (Gwen Stefani) I HATE that stupid song.

The worst song ever is "Lonely" by Akron or whatever his name is.

It sounds like a wounded robot singing the chrous.

Thats because it's a cut from the orginal lonely song recorded on an LP back in the 50's or 60's.

Well I havent listened to pop country radio in a long time so I downloaded it off the web. Gotta say it falls in the group of songs I don't like. Throwing in words like hillbilly, hay and cows don't make a song country. I know this new "country" is popular. I'm a die hard stone cold country fan and this my friends ain't country. It plays on country radio, it is in the country section but it definitely ain't country. Nashville Pop.

Now if you like some rockabilly...Dwight Yoakam has a new album due out next week. Getting great reviews so far (dont know if that is good or bad).

My nomination (so as not to hijack this tread) would be:

"Did I shave my legs for this"

My wife just read through, and wanted me to post her least favorite song. She hates Girardo's "Rico Suave".

Chris died about 2 months ago, liver cancer as I recall. Then he was inducted into CMA Hall of fame.

There are so many stupid songs out there but one of the stupidest ones i've ever heard was the cowboy troy song. I think country music is becoming to much pop and not enough country.
