Arrrgghhh !
Arrrgghhh !
Just need to vent here a little.
So a week or so ago our AC went out at the house. Which really wasn't that bad, I knew is was on it last leg. So finally the tech is scheduled out this Thursday to give me a quote.
Last night about 10:00 my wife asked me why there was no hot water. I go down in the basement hit the breaker and the reset on the the water tank and low and behold this morning there was no hot water........ It's about 15 years old as well....
Needless to say the shower was awfully cold this morning.......
I hate when crap breaks !

I was gonna get me one, because we have a small washroom. I cant remember the price, I can l;ook it up after lunch, but I saw the price and this was me:

Needless to say, I have a regular HW heater now.

Cost
Tankless water heaters cost more than conventional storage tank-type units. Small point-of-use units that deliver 1 gallon (3.8 liters) to 2 gallons (7.6 liters) per minute sell for about $200. Larger gas-fired tankless water heaters that deliver 3 gallons (11.4 liters) to 5 gallons (19 liters) per minute cost $550-$1,000.

That was great Charlie.
When I researched them they were about twice the price of a conventional water heater. But the one reason not to buy them is mineral buildup in the radiator-like heating pipes. Where I live we have fairly hard water so they aren't
practical unless one has a water softener unit as well.
