I watched the first run, it was pretty good. Wouldn't doubt that it could happend with the way the world is now. Wouldn't take a hurricane just some terrorists to blow some spots in Saudi.

This is some of the worst film making I have ever seen. Who wrote this crap??? Michael Moore while Osama Bin Laden was sucking his d$ck???

Yes, the country has problems. Yes, there is probably an oil crisis looming in the near future. Yes, we depend too much on Arab oil. You don't have to make a movie that serves no purpose other than to bash the administration in the White House. If your Uncle Larry is a cross-dressing pedophile that likes little boys, are you going to film it & show it at your family reunion??? I didn't think so.

Just about 100% of the stuff related to the military in this drivel, was wrong.

The military scenes were showed with people in uniforms not worn since the 1st Desert Storm.

The troops were wearing woodland camo in the desert.

All the aircraft had the wrong paint scemes, one scene showed a *****ing french aircraft.

The worst was the creepy-as$ family that owned the gas station in TX. The son had no badges or rank on his uniform. He was wearing his uniform to a personal function i.e. working at the gas station. This is not allowed under current uniform regs. The BDU is for work functions only. Anytime the military member desires to wear a uniform off duty, the class a (blues, greens or khakis) uniform is specified. The mother gave me the chills just hearing her talk.
ETC...

Why, just once, can't a TV/Film/Movie/Doucmentary producer be at least a little balanced??? This POS was so OBVIOUSLY done by the liberals that I would not be surprised at all if Jane Fonda Directed it. I am ashamed that this was put on TV in this country. While I am not advocating censorship, I just wish some people would use their 1st amendment a little more wisely.

KC-10 FE out...

interesting point i didnt look into it that much but now that you mention it there were a lot of flaws. I just thought it was entertaining how one event could change so much.

yes, it did have a lot of flaws and bad acting, but the regulations of the bdus werent the point of the movie. it was to show some of the dumbasses in the U.S. that take everything for granted, just what it would take to change their world, and some people will be to stupid to realize it even than.

It could happen, but it would be highly unlikely. Terrorists hitting spots in Saudi Arabia wouldn't cripple it to the point in the movie unless our big oil ports went down like in the movie. That's were the unlikely part comes in. Yes a category 4 hurricane could hit Port Fouchon (sp?), but I'm sure there would be better planning and sea traffic control at the other oil ports like the Port of Houston to make sure they didn't go down because of two ships colliding. Then again you never know. It would definately be a scary thing to have happen. I wish we would get the US oil industry technology the major upgrade it needs, there are huge oil reserves out in Utah and Nevada locked away in the sandstone, if I recall correctly. That would make us a whole lot less dependent on foreign oil. Only problem is that the oil there is not cost effective to extract with the current technology we have.

It's like that crap movie "The Day After" that ABC put out back in the day.

Some amateur film-maker's attempt to scare you into watching with little regard for the facts. Too bad a lot of people see this stuff as fact.

The Day After (about nuclear holocaust) gave me nightmares as a kid. I'm sure this one will do the same to some poor kid...

Just my two cents, I hate Hollywierd's interpretations of world events. Too skewed toward scare tactics to get viewers (which is what they are supposed to do - attract viewers).
