Let's try this one:

I see you naked in the bath
Cigarette stains on your hands
Wilted flowers in a vase
I ask how are you
Yeah, how are you?

I see your lipstick on your glass
And I think you're drunk,
I start to laugh
And i find the note
The letters ran
And it said i loved you
Yea i loved you

Don't ask why
(Don't ask why)
Don't ask why
(Don't ask why)
Don't ask why
(Don't ask why)
Don't ask why
Don't ask why

.........???

Joe

STP?
ok way off, i figured it out but ill let others try

this one should be easy:

Well this town has closed down way too early,
And there’s nothing to do,
So I’m driving around in circles,
And I’m thinking about you,
Today I heard you got a new last name,
Sure didn’t know it was gonna hit me this way,

I don't recognize any of these songs y'all are posting I must listen to the wrong kind of music, I've never even heard of Yellow Card. How about this one...it's where I got my name...
.
.
.
.
The hills were alive with wildflowers
And I was as wild, even wilder than they
For at least I could run, they just died in the sun
And I refused to just wither in place
Just a wild mountain rose, needing freedom to grow
So I ran fearing not where I'd go
When a flower grows wild, it can always survive
Wildflowers don't care where they grow

How frustrating, all of these are on the tip of my tounge but I can't seem to come up with them.

Good job on those that got mine, Counting Crows.

Quintin, the best CC song is on August and Everything After.

"A Murder of One"

lots of good stuff here, here's two pieces of two different songs from the same album. (one of my favorite albums of all time)

Pound the prairie pavement, losin' proposition
Quittin' school and goin' to work and never goin' fishin'
Water all around, never learn how to swim now

and

the ones that love us the best
are the ones we lay to rest
and visit their graves on holidays at best.

the ones that love us the least
are the ones we die to please
and if its any consolation, i dont begin to understand them.

heres an album title hint: THIS IS MONEY

it would be nice to see someone know this from memory.

From: the moral high ground
I could while away the hours
Conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain
And my head, I'd be scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

I'd unravel ev'ry riddle
For any individ'le
In trouble or in pain

With the thoughts you'd be thinkin'
You could be another Lincoln,
If you only had a brain.

Oh, I could tell you why
The ocean's near the shore,
I could think of things I never thunk before
And then I'd sit and think some more.

I would not be just a nuffin'
My head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain.
I would dance and be merry
Life would be a ding-a-derry
If I only had a brain.

My wife really gets mad because whenever we dissagree and I think she's just wrong, I whistle that tune. Never sing the lyrics, just whistle.

I am going back a little because no one got this one...

It’s not easy to hide,
All this damage inside.
And I’ll carry it with me,
Until I’m not alive.
When you look at my face,
Does it seem just as ugly,
To you?
And I can’t seem to erase,
All the scars I have lived with,
From you.
I’m so sick of this place,
And this taste in my mouth.
Cause of you I can’t figure,
What I’m all about.

Staind - Black Rain

And this one...

Well this town has closed down way too early,
And there’s nothing to do,
So I’m driving around in circles,
And I’m thinking about you,
Today I heard you got a new last name,
Sure didn’t know it was gonna hit me this way,

Gary Allan - Songs About Rain

ok ...lets try this one

i feel like going for a ride
dont know if i'll make it back alive
my head's so heavy my soul is black
looking like something the cat brought back

i'm going crazy but its allright
i'm going crazy but its allright

outside looking for something to do
walking the streets everybody looks like you
when you cant find love you can feed your head
but you cant survive when your brain is dead
i'm going crazy but its allright
i'm going crazy..think you better hold on tight

so give it to me...

now boys and girls this musican has 10 or 11 c-d's out
he's a kik *** guitar player and there are no printed lyrics for his tunes
can you guess the man's name and what the c-d is called?
have fun with this one...zap!

Heres a link to the YellowCard video. The video doesnt really match the lyrics though. It does have some nice muscle cars in it. The main one they use in the video is a 69 Mach 1 Mustang
