It's probably just the switch, dude. That's not a big deal.

CIA, you forgot Eyescream's suggestion:
He took his water bottle and threw water on the hood while yelling "I cast thee out!"

Yeah, I dunno if that helped or not, but it made the lady laugh so I guess it was worth something.

Mebbe holy water would work better.

Well- I thought if I ignored it, it would go away- but it didn't...

Took teh truck in to Ford, and the windshield seal is fine- the problem is with the "cowl" that's letting water in...

New cowl/labor $484.00...

I was so ticked off it damn-near made me buy a new car.

Be careful guys- I got beat when I bought this truck. I THOUGHT I had a 5 yr. 75,000 mile FORD warranty- but, instead I have a freaking "Bronze" package warranty with "Old Republic"....

Read your contracts.... Old Republic doesn't cover water leaks...
If I have any beef with Ford- it's that those SOBs can't make a tight water seal to save their lives... I've seen water in people's taillights, fog lights, I had water leaking throuh my rear glass on my 1999 S'Cab, the weather seal keeps falling off the inner door frame on the 2000 Expy and the SuperCrew...

Now this...

Ford- we want better water barriers!!!!
Get your ***** together over there! This is a costly and dumb-@$$ repair I'm having to make.

Dodge or Nissan I guess...
Well, if you are going to have to get a Dodge, then pick up one of these and report back. I'm curious to hear from an actual owner what they're really like and not the usual "Death to all Dodge owners" mantra one usually hears here.

You should feel lucky. If you lived in New York City you would have to pay for that..
