change the world
change the world
if you could go back in time...as far back as you want..a week..a day...a century...and change only one thing..or make sure something never happens.....what would it be?.................for me...cigarettes would have never been thought up... i dont smoke and never will..and neither does mrs zap
...zap!
For me, it'd be telling my sister to take her doctor seriously when she said not to smoke while on birth control. That combo gave my sister a massive thrombus in her brain, ultimately leading to her passing away. I'd also go back to the day she went into the hospital and told her "I love you", because I never got to tell her that before she passed.

I'd go back to the moment just after I was conceived... .then run in, jump on my parents bed yelling acting like a mad man "I'm your son from the future, BWWWAAAAHHHH HAAH HAH HA!! This is what you made tonight... BBRRROOOOWHWHW HAH AHAH HAH HA!!!"
That should scare the crap outta them. I forogt the comedian that did this bit, but man it was funny as hell...

I would change.... Hmmm... ummm... I guess nothing. I can't think of anything that I dont like right now.
Beside has nobody here ever watched "The Butterfly Effect" or "It's a Wonderful Life"?
For every action there is a equal & opposite reaction. What ever you change could have multiple undesireable/negative and dramatic effects to you, loved ones and the entire world. Everybody makes a difference in this world even if they don't realize it. How big of a difference is entirely up to each individule.

For me, I'd want to say moving; but it did get me into Ford trucks. Soo, I don't know. I think I'd just let things be.
There's a lot I'd like to change throughout history.
As far as cars / trucks go, I would have forked over the $18,000 that guy from Texas wanted for his 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 (with in-board lights, A/C, tilt, correct steering wheel, white with black stripes, the works!!!) back in late 1999. This guy had FOUR Shelbys (2 x 1967, 1 x 1968 hard top, 1 x 1968 KR Convertable) and had decided the "downsize" his collection because he was getting a little older and wanted to retire.
I had financing lined up, but walked away from it. Sure, I would have had to put another $25,000 in resto work into it (it sat on blocks, but all the parts were on hand), but these were the days before that damned movie Gone in 60 Seconds came out and helped push these cars out to the uber wealthy class.
Hind sight is always 20/20. I get sick just thinking about this...I've seen these cars in top quality go for $250,000 or more on the auction block in the last couple of years. I could have locked in a nice retirement nest egg had I had the stone to do the deal...or simply had one hell of a nice car to ride around in.

Oh yeah...one more thing. I could have done without these jack asses:
bin Laden
Stalin
Hitler
Pol Pott
Ho Chi Minh
Saddam (and sons)
Milosovich
Che
Castro
A bunch of other idiots I can't remember right now.
