Unfortunately when you change one thing it is likely going to screw something else up down the line. I think the safest thing would be to leave well enough alone and go on from here trying to make things as good as you possibly can.

yeah rosie, "the butterfly effect" comes to mind...

Personally, I'd go back to about 30 minutes prior to DZ's visit and give them a vcr and a Keanu Reeves movie...That oughta kill the mood...

I'd go back to the early 1920's and buy-up as much land as possible in Southern California, the Florida gulf coast and Hawaii. Always wanted to be a real estate tycoon.

I would have taken out Oscuma, and Saddam back when we had the chance, that would have stopped 9-11....
Clintbag could have taken out Oscuma and Daddy Bush could have made Iraq
a better place a long time ago ...............

I also would have bought that Dodge Coronet 440 4sp Gold w/ blk int. that I
had the chance to get back in the 70's but I bought a van instead.....

Hey, what did I do? Don't go jamzwayne on me please

I got offered a 64 Galaxy with a 390 for $300 when I was a kid in England and didn't buy it.

I would go back and make that purchase.

I have to say Rose is right....one small change could have devestating effects.

Say for instance you kill Osama, in theory 9/11 never occurs, there are so many outcomes you cant plan for:

Maybe Bush doesn't get reelected due to the economy
Maybe the economy takes off without the pressure of the War on Terror and he is re-elected.
Maybe Iraq never happens and instead we are in Iran or Korea.

Wow...

I've always thought if we killed the slave trade prior to it becoming engrained in the southern economy then the whole NAACP and racial tensions would never have developed and we'd all be Americans first and perhaps not so sensitive to race. However, maybe without the events happening as they did, we never see the development of the country. Very tough stuff.

I'll stick to the little stuff.

A bird took a dump on my head Sunday when I was wiring my shed. I'd move 2 steps to the left or right. 24 hours later it happened again getting in my truck. Again I'd have moved.

On March 13th 1986, I would have purchased 1,000 shares of MicroSoft when it went public at a cost of $21,000, $21 per share.

With the stock splits, today I would have $9,436,000.

Instead, I dumped $2,000 in a Mood Ring company and all I got is a mood ring.
(still works though)
