Wow, that one looks great. I dont think I could turn my L over for one of those, but Id love to have my L and that or a cyclone (all though it would be even harder for me to justify two 'performance' pick ups)

And again, that one is in great shape! Nice find

Great looking Ty. If you don't mind me asking, what Yr and how much did you pick it up for?

Syclones and typhoons have crazy potential. Have fun with it.

this truck seems to be VERY well taken care of, the guy has every reciept from from wax at autozone to tranny rebuilds... even have the original window sticker with $30k price tag.... Im learning still, but seems to have all the minor mods that I would want to do (fuel pump, injectors, stall, upgraded turbo, exhaust) Doesnt have anything major like heads, cam, rods, etc but all the little things are done....

my first thing I wanna do is get her tuned properly before I ever take to the track, and I bet i can smack down a 12sec pass...

I havent even had a week yet, and I have had 3 seperate guys pull me over or stop me in parking lot and talk to me about it... they all knew exactly what it was and comented on how nice it looks.... i was kinda surprised, I didnt think many people even knew what these were.... the bottom ground effects were just repainted about a month before I bught it, so the TYPHOON decals arent even on there (but i just ordered some yesterday)...

i havent turned the boost up past 15 yet (waiting on new tune) and I havent really gotten on it much... but yesterday I did have my first tango with another car... it was a 01 Cobra and he never left my rearview mirror

i ordered a drop kit, new typhoon logo floor mats, side decals for ground effects, rotor cap and plugs yesterday... gonna do a small tune up with fuel filter, plugs, etc etc and get it tuned properly... currently it has a 9 year old over the counter plug n play chip, so I dont really trust that much....

otherwise, seems like a great car and im still shocked by the condition... i bet i could enter it in a show and win a trophy the way it sits its that clean!!!

I dont plan to leave the SVT world for long, my goal is to get new baby born, get a few bills paid off and then roll up in the new Sport Trac SVT when it comes out and throw the 2 kids in the back!!!

Question: Did the Cyclone-Typhoon have the same turbo 3.8 That was in The Grand National?, If so the cyclone-Typhoon is a lot lot lighter+quicker, GM had some good ideas back than.

They used a 4.3L, which is basically a Chebbie 350 with two Cylinders lopped-off if I'm not mistaken.
