What a Jip
So I went to Google in an attempt to find info on calling on sick. Everything I found was humorous. For crying out loud, I just want some symptoms that sound realistic. It's summer out so the cold excuse is a bit weak. There's no way I'm going to my part-time job this Sunday,

Just don't do a whole fake sick voice thing.
I just hated when techs would call in and tell me they couldnt come in and have this death warmed over sound. Next day they are fine.
Just tell them you are sick and can't come in. They don't need to know why. In fact they shouldn't ask.

It's my 1-day a week job at the hardware store. I hate bailing on my corhorts but I can't stand another 8hrs standing around bored and thinking about my problems. 
I'm not whining, I'm just choosing to go have some fun rather than stew.

Yea, Saturday I'll probably work on the car or truck; maybe go 4-wheelin. Saturday night I'm headed to the honky-tonk. Sunday, I hear there is a steel guitar festival at the bar as well so I'll probably hit that up during the day. I love that twang.
BTW, this board has been slow all week. That's a Jip too.

I used to call one boss and in a normal voice say "Yeah bob, I'm sick and not gonna make it in today" Then let out the worst fake cough and say "See?! I'll be in Monday".... I always did this on a sunny Friday!
