If you were asked to custom-develop a spreadsheet and it took you 15-20 hours to complete, then $500 is quite reasonable and realistic for a one-off job, IMO. That's about $25/hour for your time.

Going mass-market, i.e. reselling what you already built for one client, then that is where you need to research the market for competitive products.

Ok ok, I'm calm now. Like I said before... $50 for single use, $150 site and $500 enterprise. Sell it. If it's as great as claimed, you can make some good side coin. Yeah, it wasn't made for that but if you got it, sell it.

EDIT: BTW, e-mail it to me while it's still free... my bro may like it.

No fear, I'll add a 'phone home' feature and nail their **** with a lawsuit, thus cranking up my profits to biblical proportions...

Yea but if you do it to biblical proportions than you gotta tithe and that is 10% which is a big chunk once you factor in taxes. You'll be down to almost nothing.

I'll sell it under my company, pay my taxes on my profits & pay myself accordingly. Even after all that crap it'll still be a nice chunk of bible. The wonder of mass-marketing..
