No offense taken guys, that's what this forum is for.... exchanging ideas and opinions. Mine differ from most on this issue, and I have enough of a mental block and/or dislike for Clay/Ali that I can't reverse myself regardless of the amount of good he does. I went, he didn't, he made a ton on money and fame doing here what he said he couldn't do in Vietnam, I didn't. Maybe it's sour grapes, maybe I'm not as good a person as I think I am. Maybe he saw a bigger picture than I did at that age. That's just the way it is.
Thanks CIA for at least making me think about the slant of my view.

Now, back to that scumbag Fonda!!!!!

The spread of communism is what threaten our freedoms in America. Just like Jane had spewed about loving communism and hoping other brain dead druggies would gather and follow her misguided ideas.

We know now from past history that communism could and will never work. Russia and other countries proved that. For current proof today just look at North Korea, a poster child for how communism is cruel for the people that live under it.

Today we face yet another threat or more specifically threats. First as we all know terrorist are a major threat because they are basically little communist under a different banner. They operate and wish for the same kind of control that few had with communism. In other words they basically run your life, you agree and follow exactly what they say or you DIE.

The other threat we face is socialism, like the liberal socialist Jane, Kerry, Gore and friends advocate. Socialism will KILL a society, socialism is just a little under communism but clothed in “feel good” propaganda about how others who bust their *** should have to take care of the useless and lazy that “freely” choose to sit on their *** and do nothing but be waited on hand and foot.

There is really only two basic ways to live life. One is with rules and laws but yet allows its citizens as much freedom as possible in order to keep an orderly society and that other is communism where a very few control everything, what you can say, what you can do and how you WILL live. Communism simply has different names today which is what I stated above, socialism, Wacked out Middle Eastern radial religious beliefs that terrorist follow and liberalism practiced by the extremist on the left such as Algore.

That is why we HAD to go to Vietnam we may have not won that “battle” but we showed we as a country would not sit idle and let the communist war march on. Same as today and same reason for invading Iraq. Iraq, though at this time had no WMD’S, was still a major threat to OUR freedoms in America, just a different form and name of communism.

I am not a fan of Jane Fonda, but I am a fan of the first amendment. That means even if I think you're dead wrong, and what you say is reprehensible and disgusting I still want you to express yourself. That's the price you pay when we can all speak freely. What I get sick of is these so called "patriots" waving flags and praising America while shouting everybody else down that disagrees with them.

If Jane Fonda was directly responsible for the deaths of US servicemen, she should have been prosecuted and jailed. She was not.

What is sad is your belief that people should be silent unless they have something “nice” to say, or something that will make someone else “feel good”…

Thanks, but no thanks, you may not appreciate the First Amendment rights you have but luckily for you in America that’s ok…

Please re-read your post and tell me where the HUGE contradiction is…

Sounds like the liberal propaganda spin machine is in full action…

What the heck I am bored so I will point out the contradiction…

First you state:
” I am a fan of the first amendment. That means even if I think you're dead wrong, and what you say is reprehensible and disgusting I still want you to express yourself. That's the price you pay when we can all speak freely.”
Then you state:
” What I get sick of is these so called "patriots" waving flags and praising America while shouting everybody else down that disagrees with them.”
Those two above quotes are absolute opposites, or what is known as a contradiction. Either you “completely” agree every one has the right to speak freely or you must agree that NO ONE has the right to speak freely. So which is it?

I really didn't think that the concept was that difficult to grasp......... So let me try again. I love the first amendment. However, occasionally I hate the things that other people say, and often they hate what I say. That is all fine until people start trying to stifle other's speech, or physically intimidate another person. For example. You say some thing that I disagree with. I then proceed to spit into your face to stifle your opinion.

I can understand what you’re saying…

Let me put it this way, for those that think burning the American flag is “speech” then I would have to say that spitting in someone’s face is too “speech”. Jane is someone that believes burning the American flag is speech so surely she sees no problem with another person exercising their free “speech”…

For the record I do not agree that ANY action should fall under free speech, such as flag burning and spitting in someone’s face because in logic and reality neither are truly protected under the First Amendment.

If they were then when ever I seen some scumbag burning an American flag and proceeded to whooping their *** I would never get arrested since my actions should have been protected by the same rights as someone setting fire to material…

Just that liberal one way street I guess, do as they say and you’re ok and protected and they agree with free speech. Do NOT do as they say and you’re no longer protected by the same rights they have. Some of them liberals are good little commies…

I loved our captain’s motto when I was on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Midway:

”Kill a commie for mommy”
