Looks like an ideal candidate for one of those new 5.0 Cammer crate motors.

 

yes it it's a 63...it only has 64k on the ticker...cammer motor...no way!..its all orig..the am radio even works...the engine is 170 c.i. of screaming fomoco with a 3 on the tree lol... cammer motor ..say good bye now to the rear end !!...zap!

 

Ok, I'm thinking Mustang 8.8 rear end, 5 speed with an original FMX gearknob, front discs and a hot 302 bored out to 347 with hidden nitrous but all painted Ford blue so it looks like a baby 260.
Oh yeah, and 15" Torq Thrusts.
