Drivers License test.

How many times did you have to take your drivers license test before you passed? It sure can't be as many as this guy.

272 times? WOW!

I passed the written test the first time but I failed the drivers test because the lady said I pulled out in front of a car that was a 1/4 mile away. But I passed it the second time.

Twice for me, the first time i had a disqualification, which is an automatic failure, a uncontrolled intersection.....i didn't look hard enough but the second time i took it was a week later, and it was perfect. I guess i wasn't in the mood to do a drivers test the first time.

Her mother and I have brow beat her as much as we can.
I have given her an earful of my 34 years of driving experience.
At some point you got to cut them loose and hope for the best.
She knows one ticket, one screw up and the keys get yanked.
She won't be driving my truck anyway.

My other daughter is 25 and is finally getting a break on her ins rates for having a clean record.

arent the driving tests in korea incredibly hard? I heard it's very common for people not to pass on the first try (if not the first few).

I passed mine the first time though

You passed the test, or the car that you pulled out in front of during that first test?

Passed my driving test first time in 1977. There was no written test then.
Passed my CDL last year, first time on the written, first time on the driving test. Test time was 1 hour on an inner city route.
Passed my car test in Texas last week. First time on both.
I had to get a Texas licence to get insurance for the new truck.

I'm an excellent driver

I passed mine the first time, although I got popped for a point or two when I killed a cone parallel parking. Nothing serious enough to DQ me.

The second time I almost failed the vision portion...I can see big things just fine, little words at a distance mess me up. I wore glasses when I was in middle school, and I've recently just got my eyes checked and my glasses updated so there'll be no doubts next time around I renew. Hell, in Georgia, you can renew your driver's license through the mail or on the 'net.

Geeze, I haven't taken a driving test in a bazillion years, I'd probably fail cuz I'm too damn set in my ways. I'm a good driver, been driving for 28 years and, knock on wood, never had an accident (that was my fault) but I also have a leadish foot, sometimes roll through stop signs, don't check all my mirrors when I get in, don't turn around and look behind when backing, and can't parallel park for *****...among other little eccentricities...I'm sure I'd fail!!

But I pass the written test 1st time every time I move to a new state and have to get a new license!

First time, I hated that there were so many cars parked on the side of the roads we went down. Points were taken off for not making wide enough turns...when in real life I always make wide turns for some reason.

Not quite sure what you are asking, but when I pulled out of the parking lot where the drivers license office was, There was a car coming around the turn and going toward the redlight at the intersection. The car was still pretty far away, but when I went forward across the road, the instructor said I pulled out in front of that car and then told me to turn around, that I failed and would have to retake the test again. The other car was just coming out of the housing area behind the office.

It may have been due to the fact that I was nervous and chirped the tires when pulling out
