I was reading your comments and questions about a Blackberry, and was wondering hoe it is going now. I'm looking into getting the same one. Any advice about it good or bad.

The longer I have it the more I love it. I find I use it much more than my iPaqs of the past since it's always on my hip. Granted it's not as flexible as a Pocket PC, but it has all the basic tools and apps are starting to trickle out with the release of v4. There are some faults to it... since its primary function is a PDA, it lacks some features as a phone. No biggie though. I still love it.

I use Nextel as a service and I do like it, but the phone suffers due to the service. Nextel phones never have good battery life due to the frequency they operate on. My BB must be charged every night. Somedays I can stretch it to two. I plan on using the Bluetooth, but not until I get the extended capacity battery! Other carriers using CDMA or whatever get much bettery battery life.

All-in-all I highly recommend a BB to anyone that needs a PDA & always wants to be in touch! Two thumbs up!

 

Thank you very much for the info. I'm hoping to picking mine up in a day or two. I know what you mean about battery life but I think it will be a fair tradeoff not havingto carry phone and Pocket PC.
