Yep, I've had a B-52 slide right across I-20 over me going through Shreveport, LA and Barksdale AFB...

You haven't lived until a B-1 has swooped over your site or an F-117.

I can tell you where I was, when that happened- but- then I'd have to kill ya!

Yea the actual campus is pretty, the place he landed was not the best of locations. I will personally email you some good picture of campus if you so choose, Phil....
By the way, hows the old white truck doing?

ya, email me some pics.

White truck = doing well.

Slow as can be. All my friends have heavily moded Cobras, and a few other cars that are quick. So that doesn't help any in making the truck feel quick. Stepping out of a 11 second cobra into my truck isn't fun...

yea i thought i had ridden in some fast cars...high 11 and some 12 second mustang/camaro's and 1 Lightning etc...pretty fast cars that ive personally seen run at the track

Then...

I got a ride in my buddies 1923 T-Bucket. Runs a 9.90 1/4 mile. Not even a comparison. 1700 lbs with driver--530hp 383 SBC.
You cant compare them. We raced an '03 Cobra once on the highway....wasnt even a race...its like a pickup and a tractor. Feels like your sitting in a fiberglass go-cart, and going 120 in 9 or less seconds, that thing will literally make you cry. Waaaay too much for me, although it is fun cruising around down and having ricers rev you knowing that you can beat ANYTHING on the road. And whats stupid is he's thinking of buying a supercharger for it.

I tell myself im never riding in that thing again, and when the opportunity arises, i hop right in....

Quick sign up! Youll never have a BBQ or see an Apache after that!

The Apache is impressive but the one that totally floors me is the C-5 Galaxy. Every time I see one it just amazes me that the thing can fly and too see it take off, it looks like its going in slow motion and you think it'll never get off the ground but then it does! It's pretty awesome to watch.

Aren't they awesome. I love Army firepower. I got to sit in one recently--completely awe inspiring. Even the not so cool ones are cool--Blackhawks, Huey's, & even an ol' Chinook. Esp with the rear down, getting to pull the trigger.
