After I got my Heritage, it only took a couple of days on here to fall in love with the new body style. Now, I am kickin myself in the who-ha's wondering wht the hell I didnt get the newer body style.

The Blazing yellow STX Styleside are gorgeous.
Funny that. I seriously considered getting a brand new 2005 but I can't get round the squarer styling.
I think the front end looks great from dead on and the interior is nice but from the side and back, it's too boxy for me.
The bed just looks too high IMO.

Yeah, no kidding! There's a guy driving one around town and it looks SWEET.

To be honest, I'm holding off on pics. Why? Well, to get to my house, you turn off the main highway and drive NINE miles down a gravel road. You then hang a left and drive another 1.4 miles - still on gravel.

This means that my truck stays clean for about a half-day at most when I wash it.

In May or June, they FINALLY are laying new blacktop down again. Once that's done - and once the stuff dries - I'll clean the living crap out of my truck, inside and out, and then post pics.

Curiosity question...is there some thread around here where we post pics of ourselves and stuff? Not that I'm trying to be an attention *****, but on virtually every other board I've been to, about every 2 months, everyone forgets what everyone ELSE looks like, and someone posts the requisite "Hey, post your pic!" thread. And I'd rather not create a thread dedicated solely to that.

Hey, didn't you read the instructions on how to use the Search feature? Or maybe you could just look at the first page on the general discussion page. HA

Yes, I'm well aware of how to use the 'Search' feature. However,

1) If the thread is a month or two old since someone last posted, I'd rather not resurrect it - I'd rather let someone else go first

and

2) The two threads I see are the "Pic of me" thread and the "Fat bastard" thread. Those are the ones I found using the Search feature. I don't see a "Post your pic!" thread, and call me lazy, but I figure that it'd be easier for me to ask someone now than read through 232 posts trying to figure it out. Once I have been here long enough, I'll be able to catch posts as they're put up, and I'll know what threads are where, just like the regular members.

Edited to add: Never mind...I found it. I'm an idiot.

Heh....after 10 years in the military and participation in countless online bulletin boards, it takes one HELL of a lot more to scare me off than this.
