I made the National Dean's List!

I just got a letter in the mail that said since I am a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, I get to have my biography published for the National Dean's List. Which they said will be published in over 3,400 major newspapers in the US. And I qualify to recieve a scholorship to go to a major University. In this letter it stated that only 1/2 of 1% of the population of college students in America qualify for this award. And I am one of them. Now I don't brag that much. And I never thought much of myself. But this means alot to me. I just tought I'd share this with y'all.

I'm thinking I'd like University of Kentucky. But I'm not sure what my options are yet. I just got the letter today. Thanks for the kind words.

UK is a great school!

Tenn and KY have reciprocity on in-state tuition don't they?

Thanks man. My parents are proud of me too. I guessed they are shocked to see their youngin' doing so good. lol! I just can't believe it's "Me" that this is happening to. It feels weird. I guess I got dealt some pretty good cards in life so far. Hey, I just found out I get a $500 rebate on a new Ford if I take my diploma and transcripts to the dealer when I purchase.

Yes. Pending you don't buy on any 'plan'.

I was going to use it on my KR (as my wife just recently graduated with her Masters) but, we went on Z-Plan.

Don't worry... the plan price is much better than the $500 typically.

I got that too- I was inducted in PTK in Nov 2001; Alpha Mu Zeta Chapter. PTK w/ 3.83333 GPA.

I graduated Magna *** Laude 2003.

Academically, I've done it all. Whos' Who?, PTK, PBK, and MCL. Didn't quite make SCL or Mensa (Wasn't offered as far as I know).

Congrats man!
