Your doing good Green. Hang in there and it'll all work out for you. I'm sure you'll do fine. Maybe start your own biz?

Good luck with your studies PhillipSVT. I have a cousin who took Accounting. I think he's a manager at a huge bank in Arizona now.

Thanks for all the compliments y'all. You guys are GREAT!

Yea I think ill be just fine, its hard making it thru the schoolyear on just the money that you earned last summer...my schedule has been so spread out this semester that i cant really get a job, and with CMSU being 12,000 kids in a 16,000 population town, there arent any jobs. Theres 50 applications ahead of you for any job, on or off campus.
I doubt ill open my own business unless I find something that Im really good and interested in. Id like to get my undergrad here, maybe do masters work in Oxford, MS at Ole Miss...then start climbing up the chain in a corporation....ya never know whats going to be a few years down the road, thats what makes it exciting and scary. Wanna make God laugh? Try telling him your plans....such a true statement

Well thats why Im going to stay with my parents in Tupelo for the summer working construction. I always knew they were great people, but going 4 months at a time without seeing them really makes you miss them. I figure my friends, etc will always be around--my family however, wont. Going to try and stay sober for 3 months, stop chewing tobacco, and go to church every Sunday morning and Wednesday night. College is a slow erosion of your morals and values taught from a young age, and its time I get back on track. Im not saying that Im completely finished having a good time, but it hit me last semester when i woke up in a jail cell for the second time in a month that something needed to change.

That' a boy Green. You have your heart in the right place. I know what you mean about college life degrading your morals. It seems your always trying to fit in with "the crowd". And most of the time you do and say things that might not be right. Before you know it the peer pressure gets to you and then "doing wrong" becomes natural and you don't think twice about it. But it sounds like your on the right track. Especially about your parents and church. You only have one shot at that. About the tobacco, I buy a roll of Copenhagen a week. And at $38.50 per roll I think it's time for me to quit too.

well ive never felt peer pressure, i hate to admit it but i fit right in with the party crowd and always have since coming to college. The bars and crazy keg parties we throw are too much fun. However it seems that every time we all go to the bars, we drop anywhere between 25 and 50 dollars---ouch!!! You meet so many people and have such a good time, but it also lands you in lots of places you shouldnt be, like fights and back seats of police cars.
I dont chew that expensive Copenhagen, im more of a Grizzly man myself, and if Kayak's on sale, i jump al over it...1.19 a can tastes pretty dam good

I just bought a can of Red Seal. It tastes about like Cope, but it has a salty taste to it. 1.67 a can. It'll do, until I find something else I like. You know anything else that tastes like Cope but cheaper?

Nope it sure don't. You must be like me. I say I'm gonna quit dipping about 3 times a day. But I keep on dipping like it's going out of style

and the thing is, for me, its not addictive, i just do it for some reason. Something about the tobacco taste and spittin is appealing to me...and of course the nicotine buzz
On a good week, ill go thru 1 can per 6-7 days.
Bad week would consist of 2-3 cans.

I would compare it to some people liking the taste of coke or something else like that. It's not addicting, its just something you prefer to do....
