Speed
Since this is the general question area i just want to know how fast everyone has gotten there truck up to before it shuts down list your engines mine was
302 5.0- right around 94 mph its stops i belive its govern there

Before tuning, about 95
After tuning, I'm not really sure. The spedometer only goes to 100. Where ever it is, I haven't got there yet.
Don't forget the speed limiter is there to prevent you from exceeding the speed rating of the tires. You should upgrade tires if your going to alter the limiter.

Speedo only goes to 100, my 5.4 has been past that but never held it untill it quit pulling. Ussally who ever thinks they want to run them has always given up and shut down before I run all out. I think the Porsche 930 Turbo held out longer than anyone else, but he eventually got scared too! Or he ran out, one or the other. He claimed that he shut it down at 125.

I have a 95' with a 300 I-6. My estimates say 100 although my speedy doesn't go that high. I have to time the mile. Anyway, at 100, the engine dies and I loose power steering and power breaks. It really sucks on the highway, especially when you don't expect it. The first time it went out was around a tight highway turn. *gulp*
