2005 Tacoma sighting
Yeah, some people will never see the forest for the trees when it comes to all that bull***** about buying a foreign car takes money and jobs away from the US. Meanwhile, Toyota and Nissan are building plants in other states (Aside from everything being centralized in the upper-Midwest) and giving jobs to people in severely economically depressed areas (Mississippi, Tennessee, and San Antonio, TX).
Japan doesn't have to make cars to force Americans out of work; American CEO's are forcing enough American's out of work in the name of the shareholder. With all the outsourcing to cheaper countries in order to make the company more profitable so the shareholder gets their ROI and the CEO gets his/her at-a-boy million$ and multi-million$ thank you for a great 1st quarter" check; meanwhile the average worker is wondering how they're going to pay their light bill, or the note on the 2005 F-150 since they just got laid off...
A job is a job, and as long as it's honest work, and you can keep a roof over your head, pay your bills and feed your family- it doesn't matter if the check says "Toyota" or "Ford", both of whom employ thousands of Americans...
I have two Ford's now, but- when I can afford a new LS430- you bet your @$$ it'll be in my driveway, right next to my son's Tacoma, my wife's Expedition and my daughter's Camry- should they choose those vehicles... Meanwhile, the family drives: 1 Honda, 1 Nissan, 4 Ford's, 1 GMC, and two Chevrolets...
We're all American's too...
