Tire and wheel ???'s

I know theres a tire and wheel forum but honestly, it doesnt seem to be visited by many people. I posted a question the other day and only got one response. My thread is number 3 from the top, so obviously that forum doesnt see the kind of traffic this one and the 04/05 ones do. Therefore I hope you guys will let me keep this here for a little while. So heres the deal, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about Toyo and Nitto tires? I went to the shop the other day and was talking to the guys and they told me while they are both a good tire, the Toyo is a little better since they use newer technology and Nitto basically uses Toyo's old technology. Any thoughts or comments. He gave me a good price on the 325/60-18 Toyo open country AT. Told me those tires and the MB Motoring Express 6 wheels installed out the door for $1600.

Now my other question is this, do you guys now of any other wheel that looks like the MB Motoring Express 6? He told me since that wheel is a mail order only wheel, he cant do much for me on the price, but if I was to pick out another wheel thats not mail order or something they stock ( they can get anything he said) he could do a little better on the price for me. Any help would be appreciated. Heres a pic of the wheels.

OH yeh...one more thing, can I put these wheels and 33" tires on without a leveling kit??

Just kiddin...Jeeze, you guys have no sense of humor

Maybe I answered your question so intelligently and completely, no one else could add anything.

When I got mine, I almost went with the Toyo's instead...after I found out that the BFG's are made in France :Puke:

I think the Toyo's also have a 50,000 mile tread wear warranty as well. Either is a good choice. You can't find a deal on take off's?

ROTFLMAO....you guys are the best man..no matter what, I always laugh when im on this site...

As for the take offs, I honestly never gave it any thought. But the price on the Toyos I mentioned is $179 each. I thought that was pretty good. What can I get in a take off thats 325/60-18, Any Ideas??

yup!

They used to make them in South Carolina...moved it to France and raised the prices.

Sorry Brew, I saw the $1600 and thought that was for tires only. Leave it to me to try and skim read and drink beer at the same time.
