SAD THING.

That cat was de-clawed. 10 bucks says, if that cat wasn't de-clawed, that dog would NOT have let that cat swat at him. First time that dog gat a claw in the face like that, he would have tucked tail and ran.

GUARANTEED ! ! !

or not.

my neighbours Shepard kills varmints all the time (city varmints like squirrels and raccons)

He's taken that dog to the vet more times to have stitches and antibiotics for all of the clawing to the face (squirrels can be broken in half in a dogs mouth and they stick fight tooth and nail to the death)

Some dogs just dont give up... no matter how much blood.

There is a HUGE difference in that lil dog (is that a Jack Russell) and a German Shepherd. Shepherd's are like that. I dont think lil Jack Russell's are like that.

Could be the cat had his claws just wasnt' pulling them out.

My cats will really go at it with each other but they never pull the claws out. They bite, pull, scream, hiss, and tackle each other but they've nevered whipped out their "Big guns". They never pulled their claws out when the my dog was alive either. No matter how ticked they got at each other. Pretty amazing, really.

Now when he got outside and got into it with a strange cat he immediatly went to DEFCON1 and he went full tilt. 20 claws, fangs, and that low MEEUURRR that proceeds a beat down.

My cat's the same way. She'll nearly knaw my arm off, but the only time I've ever been scratched by her is by accident... when she's running or falling...

Terriers are bred to have a ton of Fighting Nastiness in a small package. Most Terriers were bred during the Dark ages to kill Vermin, mainly Rats. When it comes to attitude and scrappiness, I'd put a terrier against a Shepherd any day of the week. But, the shepherd has much more size, strength, speed, and endurance and would easily win the fight...

I have NEVER heard of a cat swatting and not gauging large amounts of skin with their claws, at least not any cat I have been around. That CHIT hurts like a mother…

That’s ok, their claws ain’t got nothing on my Goodyears…

That's because they know who they're dealing with...
