As a HUGE Looney Tunes fan (my favorite cartoon of all time even though I posted Hong Kong Phooey to that last cartoon thread), I'm INCREDIBLY disappointed.

Do they have any DVD collections of Looney Tunes?

Yeah they do, my history professor showed some of them last semester before class started every morning.

It was really more of a "best of" collection with like 3 or 4 DVDs (I think).

I grew up with Loony Tunes cartoons and I still watch them whenever I can find them on TV anymore. I used to love Saturday mornings when it would be on for an hour. I have probably seen every one of them at least 5 times, but still enjoy them. One of the reasons why they have succeded is that they are very simple and also very predictable.

I absolutely hate when they take something that has been very successful and try to update them or give them makeovers. They will turn off many viewers by doing this. I read something earlier where they said they were doing this because of the younger viewers. To be honest, the adult population is probably the biggest audience of these cartoons, not children. Most kids now probably don't even know who bugs bunny and daffy duck and all the other characters are.

I for one will not watch the new bugs bunny cartoons as they will be a disgrace to the legacy of the show.

Transformers: Armada

No, not the Nissan Armada- Transformers Armada.

In the same vein as the looney tunes thread, the Anime cartoon design theory has taken and 'effed-up" the Transformers. Now it looks like everything else..

Dragon Ball Z
Pokemon
Digimon
Robotech
Yugi Oh
etc...

My 16 y/o is watching this everyday when I get home, so I stay current.

Optimus Prime went from a big rig to a fire truck...

Oh, the humanity!!

Did you ever watch 'Beast Wars'? Man that show was AWESOME!! My favorite was always "Cheetor"

I wish I could find a copy of the game somewhere.

more so power rangers use to be a cool show now its so computerized its not cool now more. also no more hot chicks. but what ive been wondering is why is the show so racist? i mean the Yellow power ranger was always asian the black one was always black the red one was always a red neck and the girly girl was always pink.
