Cruise control. How fast ?
How fast do you need to be going before using the cruise control?
It seems to me, that when I was a kid, the CC stopped working in my mom's car when I had set it at a speed of around 35 mph.
(stupid kid
) I realize it's probably listed in my owners manual.

I don't go by the manual for some things, I just push the buttons.
My 1999 holds at 25 mph, I haven't tried lower than that.
There may have been some liability reasons why cruises were defunct below 35. Can't think of a mechanical reason it wouldn't hold at lower speeds.
Maybe the reason was so the vehicle couldn't be used as a guided missile. You would be less likely to bail (unscathed anyway) from a vehicle doing 30-35 mph.
