Sorry for the confusion. I should have said "How slow can you go while using cruise control ?" I was told as a kid that going too slow and pushing the cruise button would ruin the cruise control system. A buddy of mine lives down a 25mph road and the police are very **** on that road. I would like to be able to set the cruise at 30mph or so.

Awhile back me the the old geezer were putting a cruise control in a car we had. It system he chose allowed us to determine the minimum speed. It stated in the instructions that the maximum speed was think 3 or 4 times the minimum. If they are using a similar program on the factory models that would be why there is a minimum speed.

1depd,

I have been meaning to ask you something (since your in law enforcement).

Here in Texas, we have some speed limits signs like this:

If I am going 70 at night, is that breaking the law, or is the 65 at night for "my safety"?

Without paying $75.00 for the US manual I had to resort to searching through the Texas driver'd ed curriculum. All black and white signs are regulatory. So yes 65 is the limit at night.
