heeeeeehhhhhheeeeee!

It's all Burts' fault.
All those debates pre 02/11/04 took me away from my long running search for a tuner that would work with my propane-powered F-150. Not to mention helping out all those guys who can't figure out how to get their stock stereo out of the dash, hehe....

I'm not even in the running here, but just to confuse the issue even more, least it confuses me, consider the following.
Search in the search function at top of thread my name =1031
Hit search at the bottom of my post will equal ~1758
Look in the info block to the left on my post =1282. Not that it matters, but I have no idea how many posts I have.
Plus, I have been here so long that most of my posts got wiped out when Stever changed server providers. I used to post a lot when I had the L.

Hey Bill, you are correct. There are three different totals for each user. There goes what little validity my post had.....

The search button above your post is for the person above you? Or am I miss understanding what you're saying?

Yeah, Bill is saying use the search button at the top of the forum, and just type your user name and do a search. It gives you a different number than what shows under your post and different from the search feature beneath your individual post.

For instance, your current numbers are:

2268, 3041, and 5239

You edited then beat me to it! HA!

The only idea I get is that the top search only shows each thread that you've posted in, not including each post.

Your actual search show the actual number of posts you done.

The post count to the left shows the posts that count.

On a completely unrealated note...

We told you about Dodge auctioning off the very first Dodge Charger to roll off the production line a few weeks back, but because of the auto show madness it slipped our mind. The car sold for an amazing $75,100 Friday on eBay. But that figure includes the NASCAR shell that was part of the official introduction at the Detroit Auto Show and a trip for two to see the NASCAR race at Darlington Raceway. It seems Chrysler can do no wrong these days. They’re taking the momentum the 300C gave them and follow it with big promotions like this.

I do believe you are right JOE! That certainly appears to be the way the count is distributed.

BTW, it's still a Chrysler product. I've owned them before, and never will again.
